Located in different AHEC sites around Appalachia. This camp provides students with a quick look into healthcare and the steps you must take to start the path to medicine. Includes hands on activites such as suturing, learning how to administer medicine, and learning from healthcare professionals.

The Summer Enrichment Program is a two-week health careers residential camp hosted by the University of Kentucky Area Health Education Center that allows students to ‘experience college before college’. It is for high school students who are seriously considering a college path leading to a health profession. It provides an opportunity to learn about the variety of careers in health professions and to learn some of the requirements for majors leading to a health career.Academic course work is also part of the camp experience.
Offers multiple different camps focusing on a different area of the arts including vocals, piano, and band. This camp is residential or commuter style and is located on Eastern Kentucky University's campus.

For three weeks every summer, over 200 of Kentucky’s most talented and creative high school students are invited to grow and learn together at the Governor’s School for the Arts’ college summer residence program. Students are offered in-depth instruction in one of nine artistic disciplines: architecture + design, creative writing, dance, drama, instrumental music, musical theatre, new media, visual art, and vocal music.

A program dedicated to fostering students skills in leadership, technology, entrepreneurship, and community service. As a part of the Center for Rural Development this program works in junction with Lindsey Wilson College and Morehead State University to provide a fun and educational expirience for students.
Camp Nathanael’s Resident Camp in Emmalena, KY offers a week of faith, fun, and adventure for grades 1–12. Campers enjoy daily Bible lessons, swimming, horseback riding, team games, and classic traditions like campfires and Hilltop chapel. High schoolers get bonus activities like banquets, sports tournaments, and escape rooms—all in a Christ-centered, memory-making environment.

The Markey Cancer Center’s Appalachian Career Training in Oncology (ACTION) Program offers Appalachian Kentucky high school and undergraduate students enrolled at the University of Kentucky the opportunity to gain cancer research, clinical, outreach and education experiences that will enrich their interest in pursuing a biomedical career with a focus on cancer-related careers.

The Kentucky Forest Leadership Program offers three educational tracks: Forestry, Entomology and Wildlife. While choosing a track provides you the opportunity to experience a concentrated program, the three tracks will work together throughout the week just as real-life natural resources experts do. So, if you want to learn about Kentucky’s forests, but are seriously interested in insects or wildlife you will get the opportunity to experience a concentrated program in entomology or wildlife while also learning about the forest.

The Craft Academy for Excellence in Science and Mathematics is a dual-credit academy for academically exceptional Kentucky students. Craft Academy provides students with a postsecondary residential experience to complete their junior and senior years of high school by enrolling in college courses.
The Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science in Kentucky is Kentucky’s first residential 2-year STEM program for gifted and talented juniors and seniors. Established in 2007, students at The Gatton Academy enroll as juniors and are full-time Western Kentucky University students pursuing their interests in advanced science, technology, engineering and mathematical careers.
