PEPP Scholars is a summer academic enrichment program that exposes high school graduates to the field of medicine in the hope of solidifying their commitment to the career path. The one-week program affords young scholars the chance to observe, network, and volunteer within the health care setting.

Offers multiple different camps focusing on a different area of the arts including vocals, piano, and band. This camp is residential or commuter style and is located on Eastern Kentucky University's campus.

The Markey Cancer Center’s Appalachian Career Training in Oncology (ACTION) Program offers Appalachian Kentucky high school and undergraduate students enrolled at the University of Kentucky the opportunity to gain cancer research, clinical, outreach and education experiences that will enrich their interest in pursuing a biomedical career with a focus on cancer-related careers.

Camp Nathanael’s Resident Camp in Emmalena, KY offers a week of faith, fun, and adventure for grades 1–12. Campers enjoy daily Bible lessons, swimming, horseback riding, team games, and classic traditions like campfires and Hilltop chapel. High schoolers get bonus activities like banquets, sports tournaments, and escape rooms—all in a Christ-centered, memory-making environment.

Anonymous Hope is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunity for students in Kentucky to further their education after high school. The scholarships awarded by Anonymous Hope can be renewed each year based on their tier system and your community service involvement. Their goal is to help awardees stay in college, rewarding progress toward your degree with additional financial support.
In 2009, the Mission of Hope began awarding scholarships at each of the 13 high schools in the Rural Appalachian areas where we serve. Students who receive these scholarships may pursue an education at a 2-year, 4-year, trade or vocational school.

This scholarship is designed to honor the memory and legacy of Kay Campbell. Kay was a nurse practitioner who was dedicated to the field of nursing and nursing practice. Kay lost her battle with cancer, but she continued to practice and serve patients at a Grace Health clinic in Wooten in Leslie County while fighting her battle.
**Priority is given to students pursuing a career in nursing. If no applicants are future nursing students, applicants who are pursuing a career in the healthcare field will be considered**

The HCTC Promise scholarship is a "last dollar in" program, meaning it kicks in after all other financial aid you receive (like Pell Grants, CAP, KEES, Work-Ready Scholarship, other grants, and third-party scholarships) has been applied. It's designed to cover the remaining balance of your first year's costs at HCTC, ensuring you pay zero tuition.

Phi Theta Kappa members are eligible to compete for a limited number of two-year renewable awards which provide full tuition for Kentucky residents, or the difference between resident and non-resident tuition rates for non-residents (approximately $15,000). Applicant must be a PTK member in good standing and be pursuing a first bachelor's degree.
