Located in different AHEC sites around Appalachia. This camp provides students with a quick look into healthcare and the steps you must take to start the path to medicine. Includes hands on activites such as suturing, learning how to administer medicine, and learning from healthcare professionals.

Students who are accepted into NP will be placed with RN mentors within their community. This program will run for 1 year and is designed to better prepare students for their future as a nurse and soft skills development.

The Health Researchers Youth Academy is a two-week residential camp hosted by the University of Kentucky Area Health Education Center that provides an opportunity to have an immersive experience in health care research by world class UK researchers and clinicians. The program also provides participants with the chance to learn some of the requirements for majors leading to a health career. In short, students get to ‘experience college before college’.

Offers multiple different camps focusing on a different area of the arts including vocals, piano, and band. This camp is residential or commuter style and is located on Eastern Kentucky University's campus.

Camp Nathanael’s Resident Camp in Emmalena, KY offers a week of faith, fun, and adventure for grades 1–12. Campers enjoy daily Bible lessons, swimming, horseback riding, team games, and classic traditions like campfires and Hilltop chapel. High schoolers get bonus activities like banquets, sports tournaments, and escape rooms—all in a Christ-centered, memory-making environment.

The Kentucky Forest Leadership Program offers three educational tracks: Forestry, Entomology and Wildlife. While choosing a track provides you the opportunity to experience a concentrated program, the three tracks will work together throughout the week just as real-life natural resources experts do. So, if you want to learn about Kentucky’s forests, but are seriously interested in insects or wildlife you will get the opportunity to experience a concentrated program in entomology or wildlife while also learning about the forest.

GSP provides students a rare opportunity to share the joy and discovery of learning and to exchange ideas in a warm community atmosphere. A select group of supportive high school and college teachers works closely with the Scholars in classes, seminars, and co-curricular activities. Well-known speakers and performers as well as films, field trips, special events, and a wide range of recreational opportunities offer an array of stimulating activities that provide fun and enjoyment while Scholars learn.
For three weeks every summer, over 200 of Kentucky’s most talented and creative high school students are invited to grow and learn together at the Governor’s School for the Arts’ college summer residence program. Students are offered in-depth instruction in one of nine artistic disciplines: architecture + design, creative writing, dance, drama, instrumental music, musical theatre, new media, visual art, and vocal music.
